We don't have these in NY, and you know, it's an okay supermarket, but it gets 5 stars for the name. What dignity! That's how I want to feel when I buy a ton of processed cheese and funyuns to drown my depression and anxiety. We're all brave in our own way. We're never gonna make it without some compassion towards ourselves-- Food Lion is standing tall and making that more possible.

Nice store, friendly people working there, good selection of fruits and vegetables. Food Lion surprised me with their wide and varied selection of different wines including North Carolina local wines that I can't find at my local stores in Ohio.(Duplin vineyards) Food Lion also had a good selection of meats, and just about anything else that you would expect.

I would recommend going to the Food Lion that's up the street around 67th Avenue because they have a staff that tends to your needsthis one seems to be focused on brakes more than the importance of customer service and getting them in and out... I called and talked to management he didn't seem to be that concerned about the customer service that I received he was the one outside taking a break so I guess he must have been offended but that's okay it's your job to make sure that people have great customer service you're supposed to be the neighborhood friendly Food Lion  act like it.... and be more attentive to your customers needs, nobody wants to spend almost 5-10 minutes in line...

Good variety of items of all kinds. Helpful employees, somehow they all seem to know the location of anything you could ask for. Great place to shop very friendly staff.

The store is nice nice but they need to have security at night too many drug addicts and homeless people in the parking lot approaching cars asking for money. You don't feel safe getting out of your car.
