To be able to get the "full-on" shopping experience and savings that Food Lion offers make sure to ask your cashier to become an MVP Rewards card member. Like many loyalty programs it's free and will save you upwards of at least $5.00/visit, depending on what and how many items you purchase. 

The Deli/Meat Dept. employees were very nice and helpful, so do not be afraid to ask them anything pertaining to particular cuts of meat.  The produce section is not your local farmers market but for a chain food store I was still thoroughly impressed. 

All in all I will be doing more and more shopping at Food Lion grocery stores if this one is like the rest. Good customer service, reasonable prices, and employees that go the extra mile.....it's a NO BRAINER!!!!

They have friendly and helpful staff. It has a great selection and good prices.

Overpriced but good selection. Most expensive grocery store around. I only go if Wal-Mart and Kroger don't have what I need.
