Living in a community with a very small year round population and just two grocery stores, I am quite satisfied with our Food Lion. The prices beat the other store, and the selection is adequate. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Food Lion,  Corolla, NC serves me well.

This is one of the nicer Food Lion stores that I have been to but is still a Food Lion.  Cheaper than Harris Teeter which is also in Corolla but not the same quality store.  Easy parking.  Not a bad store and staff are much friendlier and more helpful than I am accustomed to at other Food Lions.  It does offer convenience if staying in Corolla.

Everything you need. Sun lotion to burn cream to a decent beer selection and good food. Cheapest place to get milk on the island.

This grocery store has been here a long long time. It used to be severely crowded before Harris Tweeter opened up a few miles south down the road. The quality of the food may be somewhat less than HT but not completely. I often prefer FL over HT but recognize each grocery store for their pros and cons. This FL is well established, is very conveniently located and still maintains a high quality of service and productivity.

This place was packed with people both yesterday and today. But they were the days people would have been arriving to start their vacation week here. The lines moved pretty fast as all the registers were opened. Looks like rain for the beginning of the week and clearing for the end.
