Food Lion is not a discount grocer. If you want discount, go to Aldi. I do. A lot. But this Food Lion has a great selection of products, especially name-brand products. I visit here fairly often because it is big, but not too big. It has a lot, but not too much. It has the name-brand "whatever" that I am looking for. And it does not kill me at the register. Beer cooler. Wine. Easy parking. Clean. White and bright.

I call this "My grocery store". I've been on a budget all my life. Ha ha I was raised a poor girl, & I guess that rubbed off on me as I grew up!  Nothing wrong being poor, makes you appreciate  what  you do have. I've been divorced  for about 35 years, never remarried  & raised my Son myself. My budgeting  has rubbed off him. We have a good life, & people that work at Food Lion are always very nice to us when they see us. My Son has forgotten the savings card at times & they remember  him & always use  the one they have. That is kind in my books, & I appreciate  them very much. They really  have some great sales. I went tonite & saved '  $28.61. Also their store on Spring, out close to I 40, is always clean & bright looking. I think you'll like it too!!! You'll be calling it your store like I do.

A much more family feel to this store vs. The one at Jackson. Really great selections.
Only store in town I know of that carry's mount olive Jalapeño pickles.
Great Deli Also.
Just Love this store.
And the Staff:)

I used to be a Kroger or Walmart guy for groceries but Food Lion has competitive prices and is way more convenient.
