This is one shining star in the horribleness that is social services in Santa Barbara. The foodbank distributes good food, and a decent amount, too. All of their employees are good and decent people, in my experience. My only complaint is that they should have more distributions, but I guess everyone has to work with whatever funding they have.

can't say enough good about the food bank. if you want to feel good about yourself for doing something right please give to the food bank.
