Amazing Hot Chicken Sandwich. Staff is above and beyond friendly and helpful. Chicken was perfectly cooked and moist and tender. Fries are wonderful and the gentilman working the desk actually held door open for me and helped me out with my rolling scooter from my foot in a cast shoe. Definitely give this place a try. You will regret the decision if you don't try it.
Love it, definitely coming back. I got the plantain balls with pork and the lemon pepper chicken salad. Huge portion sizes. Tried my partner's jerk chicken sandwich and it was not for me.Recommended dishesFries, Plantain Balls
Best fried chicken sandwich I’ve had in MA. Also the largest portion size and best value. I’ve also gotten the Hennessy BBQ wings, Chicken and Waffles, Shrimp & Grits, and fried Okra here and they were all fantastic. The owner and staff are incredibly friendly as well.Food: 5/5
The staff were very welcoming and the service was quick. Fish and cheesy grits were amazing and fresh with a nice amount of heat.Food: 5/5
Got a hot fried chicken sandwich & plantain balls. Food was made fresh to order but was worth the wait. The hot chicken is definitely hot but also huge! Plantain balls were stuffed with chicken & also very good! Definitely coming back!Food: 5/5
Realistically 0 stars. I recently placed an online delivery order, and to say I’m highly disappointed is an understatement. We ordered their “Baked” Mac and Cheese, the Rasta pasta and a jerk chicken taco. Now if I had ordered vegan Mac n cheese, I would have been okay because that is exactly what it looked, smelled and tasted like. However I didn’t! The pasta was flavorless and definitely not baked as advertised. The Rasta pasta tasted like water and the chicken had a funny texture. And the jerk chicken taco was pure salt and wet. The presentation was horrible. None of what I ordered was good and a waste of money.
I was so impressed!! My boyfriend and I both got the hot chicken sandwich and it was FANTASTIC. It definitely has some heat, but the perfect amount. Neither of us were in pain eating it, but the spice made it so good. The coleslaw on top was a perfect balance to it as well. The side of fries were also impressive! Crinkle cut with a house seasoning that was a little sweet and spicy. We also got the Mac and cheese to try and it was very good! There’s also a little bit of seasoning in it too which took it up a notch. There’s another review that said it was super bland with not a lot of cheese, but that was NOT the case with ours. They put a bunch of melted cheese on top and the cheese with the noodles was also pretty gooey in the best way! Overall, we were both very impressed with the food we got and we will definitely order again! Everything you want in a chicken sandwich and Mac and cheese
My husband and I randomly decided to try Foodys today and we were not disappointed! We got hot chicken sandwiches and the plantain balls - WOW! Amazing heat to the sandwich and good quality chicken. The plantain balls were much needed to soothe the burn also- the fries were incredible. Flavorful and crispy - which is hard to do especially with take out. Highly recommend giving this place a try!
Finally, finally, someone up here knows how to make grits. My Southern palette is quite discerning and I have to say FoodDy’s meets the bill. We had a small mixup with our order but they happily fixed it and were more than kind about the mixup. Everything was well seasoned and plentiful portions, especially for the price. Reminds me of a lot of food I miss out on being up here, so it’s nice to have a restaurant I can always return to for a little Southern Charm
Whoa say hello to Southern Spicy flavor. I stopped by for lunch and tried the Hot Chicken Sandwich and it was worth it. Imagine a Wendy's Spicy Chicken but replace the thin patty with a plump juicy piece of fried chicken with a lot of coleslaw on top. Good spice and as you can see it comes with a generous portion of fries those are good too. Looking forward to going back for another meal. Welcome to the neighborhood FoodDy's!
