I came to this place to have many warts treated. The first meeting was pleasant, they explained a few options and recommended an acid based treatment. Begin the most painful month of my life. The treatment had me in so much pain I couldn't hardly get around my own house. I had to call to have pain pills prescribed just to sleep at night. Often it seemed the doctor justified the pain because many people with warts already experience pain from it and this treatment would be "comparable" in pain. It was, without a doubt, not comparable in any way. During the treatment acid was being placed straight on open wounds, which would continue to eat through the skin until it was washed off 24 hours later as directed. It wasn't until after we decided to terminate the treatment that they decided to offer any sort of painkiller as they were cleaning up the mess that was now my feet. It would not be fair to rate them so low just based on the fact that the treatment did not work because I did terminate it early. HOWEVER, I went to a different podiatrist after the warts returned worse than ever, and was prescribed a topical similar but much, much stronger than Dr. Scholls over the counter treatments. This topical was nearly painless, and completely treated the warts in a month. I write this months after this alternative treatment and there are no signs of them coming back. For this reason I feel like by going to the Foot Care Center of Sheridan I was subjected to an intensely painful and pointless treatment which left me severely dissatisfied with my overall experience.
