I wish I had read these reviews before calling them. I had them out to fix a few minor sprinkler issues and they figured out a way to charge me $220. I feel ripped off.

Scheduled an apointment for an estimate with the owner. Took time off work to meet him. Never showed up, no calls ,emails etc.

Be aware that this place will bill you labor charges for the time they use to make out your bill.  In other words, if it takes the worker 10 minutes making out your bill while they are in their truck figuring it out...they will charge you 10 minutes of labor!!!!   No reputable company would ever do that!

I had a bad experience with them fixing a leaking sprinkler valve.  After paying them $200 to replace the valve and  stop the leak...it still leaked.  After calling them back, the owner of the company actually said that he wasn't sure he could even stop the leak!   I complained to him that I contracted with him and paid him $200 to fix the leak.  He still argued with me claiming that he couldn't guarantee stopping the leak.   It was crazy trying to talk sense with him.

Nevertheless, after much arguing, he sent a man out and it was eventually fixed.  

This is definitely not one of those companies that believe in the old business model that the customer should be happy.   It's too bad he doesn't realize that if I went away happy, I would have recommended his place to all my neighbors who are in need of a person who does good landscape work.

do not use they people they will charge you by the hour just for a estimate.

they are not for good people.

if you deep pockets go for it.

I chose Foothill Landscaping to turn my empty backyard into the garden I've always wanted.  Rather than just rush in and work, I was presented with plans and a thorough breakdown of exactly what was to happen on my property.  The customer involvement made sure that I got exactly what I wanted, and because of this I now have a beautiful garden to relax in.  I am very pleased with the service.
