Phoenix libraries are only open for limited hours and on certain days a week. It's no wonder the education system here is rated so low. Overall, the libraries in Phoenix are ridiculous and useless, especially this one. Not only is their facility only available whenever their employees wish to work, but their employees are rude and unhelpful. They act as if helping a patron locate a book /in their catalog/ is too much trouble. Compared to other states, Arizona has the worst libraries by far, and this one makes the Valley's Top 5 Worst Libraries, landing themselves the number one spot with their horrendously limited hours, extremely unprofessional employees, and inability to control their constantly chaotic setting. 

If I could rate FBL zero stars, I absolutely would. Don't bother coming here. The employees don't even want you there anyway.

The staff is always helpful for any questions and concerns. The library has a relaxing atmosphere,  many places to work at a table or sit in a chair to do your work.

All libraries in the system are very organized, I just prefer to go to the Foothills location because it is close to my home.

Friendly staff and good place to go for general reference books, but not for technical engineering books -  Noise level can be too  much for people who want quiet.. This is despite the signs where it says "Quiet Zone" .  Librarians talk louder than most people outside of library, and are the usual occasional  mothers w/ kids running at times as though it's a playground.  .    .
