I just had the best breakfast I've had in a long time here. Their service was laid back and they were super friendly. A cozy place to have a great breakfast. I'll be eating here any time I'm even near the area.

 We are always looking for a new place.  Old school cafe interior. Loved it.  Food was delicious.  As you can see from my breakfast burrito. My son had a bacon cheeseburger, he said it was in the top ones he has had. ( He only orders burgers so thats huge compliment) husband said the hash browns were the BEST he has ever had.  It was a great experience. (Service and food) we definitely will be back..

Awesome cafe with large portions of amazing food. Very well priced and was conveniently located a short distance from the Mother Lode Fairgrounds where we were staying. The staff were very friendly.

The Popeye omelet is enough reason to come here, but so are the hash browns, which are the closest thing to waffle house out here.  Nice people too.

I have been to a great many small towns across America and I decided to settle in one, The City of Sonora. The Foothills Cafe is a great diamond in this city's crown. It is perfect, primarily because it's great home cooking at low prices. Not to mention the service is phenomenal and the place is neat and small. Being from NYC I wanted to keep this a secret, however I cannot.It is deserving of a rave review. This place for lack of better words is "F#*king Amazing!". The only downside is that it is right next door to my gym.... so I have to avoid it on occasion. Yet, I can never forget the amazing biscuits, eggs and steak I had there one sunny afternoon in the winter. Thank you Foothills Cafe, I will not forget you and you have not seen the last of me.
