For about five years now, I have been taking my fourteen-year-old Mercury to Ford Doctors, and I've come to realize the time has been a great life transforming process for me! I used to be rather negligent and cheap with vehicle care, like most people, and I easily went through 5 or 6 cars over a thirty-six year period. Also, like most people, I never imagined that some cars could possibly last even past 300,000 miles, with expert maintenance. So, trying to save money, I lived in constant apprehension that my car might break down, and I routinely avoided out-of-town trips. Naturally, I was also terrified of huge car bills, and I usually wound up just buying another used car when the bill was too high. Worst of all, all the mechanics I dealt with before displayed very little interest in establishing a professional maintenance plan. Ray, at Ford Doctors, was quite the opposite from day one. After fixing my fan belt problem, that mysteriously no mechanic could fix properly, he quickly began explaining to me the overwhelming importance of an expert comprehensive maintenance plan. He also explained, with crystal clear technical details, why all the mechanics failed to service my fan belt properly, and he offered me an opportunity to get on his maintenance plan. I decided to give the plan a try, and I've never looked back since! It's amazing how Ray always goes out of his way to make sure my car is in tip top condition! Very few know how good I've got it now! Now I'm actually saving tons of money, in the all-important long run, and I feel like I have a brand new car at my disposal, 24 X 7. If you want cheap service, absolutely go somewhere else! If you're sick and tired of the "cheap broken car blues", you definitely need to give Ford Doctors a try!

I just move to houston , so knowing nothing about auto repair to begin with and without any trusted recommendations i had to rely on the Internet. I have a 2011 Ford Explorer with over 150,000 miles on it that my mom was scheduled to drive across the country to my dad. I wouln't trust this car for a day trip to austin ! There was a constant loud noise coming from the front of the car and it drove like it was an off road monster truck! My father is very particular about who service his vehicles so of course he insisted on talking to Ray the owner of ford doctors , who answered all of his specific questions and confirmed what i had already been told . Ford Doctors provided me with a thorough list of all the service performed and recommended, along with the corresponding price so that i was completely awere of what i was paying for. They were even more than happy to humor my dad and let a trusted "auto savvy" friend of his come out and croos check the list before we gave our final approval. Ford Doctors wasn't cheap, but the prices weren't ridiculous either. I truly believe that you get what you pay for and after Ford Doctors inspected and serviced the Explorer it drove better than ever! It hasn't performed this well since i first had the car in 2013! I have had the vehicle checked several times and they faild to notice or solve the problem of the horrible noise coming from the Wheels were completely off balance! After my taking my car to Ford Doctors my mind was put to ease when my mother confirmed the pleasant ride upon arrival. Zero problems! In the hands of ford Doctors!

Very experienced , takes the time to explain the repairs neede. I found the reviews i have read here quite interesting. I have had my vehicle repaiered many times by Ray at this facility. My experience with him on the phone calls about my vehicle have ALWAYS been quite differet from other repair shop. While to asked for an ideas of what a given repair would cost , ray has never given me a "quote by phone" he has told me what te cost of a given part might be , but has followed with an explanation that they would have to see the vehicle and diagnose it to give me exact figures . i have learned that we get what we pay for when it comes to vehicle repairs. Just repairing or replacing a falied part does not mean that the cause of the failed part has been repaired. Making sure that a repeat failure does not occur requires detailed dignostics and competent people to make sure the repairs. As for price, i once paid a dealership $50 to repair a problem , only to find out that the only part replaced was a $2 fuse! In the end , it is not the cost of the fuse that was important, it was knowing which fuse to replace and where to find it . this company's warranty is better than any dealership i have ever dealt with and ray has always been very honest in his dealings with me . i depend on my vehicle everyday and trust Ray to keep it dependable!

Took my truck for a brake job thinking to spend a few hundred dollars; problem was leaving my truck there. 3 hours later got a call that my truck needed brake pads and rotors rotated. Estimated price was $1,069.00 - Parts and Labor. Just find it hard a brake job on a Ford 2007 truck could cost a arm and legs; after payment the owner suggested that I may need a timing belt on the model truck, doing research and asking local mechanics they explained that this model does not have a timing belt but a chain. (Beware, the guy seems nice and knows what his doing, but the labor for a brake job cost me 600.00, and parts were 350, just for brake pad. Rip Off Big Time)
