Everything we create is from scatch, always using high quality ingredients including extra virgin olive oil, unbleached and stone ground flours, organic nuts, seeds and berries and all loaves are hand formed.with love.

I decided to offer my breads and other baked goods for sale after I did a scientific research study for college. It was required that we choose a subject to research for Health and I choose Hydrogenated Oil because I saw it on alot of food labels but I didn't know what it was. After finishing the study I was appalled that the FDA allowed this substance to be added to our food. I decided the only way I could get the word out about how bad hydrogenated oil is for us was to offer my own baked goods, free of any unnatural ingredients, for sale. I have been baking since I was 7 years old so it seemed like a natural step to take. Along with my baked goods I would offer, for free, a copy of my report so people could see for themselves how harmful Hydrogenated oil is.
Meet the Business Owner: Linda H.
I have always loved baking. I was 7 when I baked my first pan of brownies. My parents left me with a baby sitter. I told the sitter that my mom always lets me bake, even though I had never done it before, and I followed the directions on the can of cocoa and they come out great! Ever since then I was hooked. When I was 16 my Aunt gave me a book about baking bread. I practiced untill I got it right. Since then it was required that I bake the rolls for every family gathering. The family always said "These rolls are soo good, you should sell them." So, after I did the hydrogenated oil study I had no fear about the quality of the products. They had been tested for the last twenty years.
My family has been very supportive of my endeavor. My parents and children (one son and four daughters) help with selling the bakery products at farmers markets around the area. My mother and oldest daughter do the frosted cookies and cake decorations.
