Very responsive to calls, I always got an answer all 3 times I called. The lady is very sweet and easy to talked to, I enjoyed her very much! This place would be fine for someone from Perry, on a budget. However, we drove very far to see this place and I will say that the photos are extremely misleading. This is by a very busy road, you can hear and see the traffic. The covered bridge is tiny, it goes over a drainage ditch. Its very small. Would be ok for some but this was not for us.

During the holidays or special occasions, they have kids friendly activities, like easter, Christmas, its also a church with 2 services. Some people get married at the church, the people are friendly and welcomes everyone with open arms!!

I contacted Sara on August 9 inquiring about the rental space. After visiting the park we signed the agreement and paid the deposit + rental fee for use of the chapel on August 20.

On August 16 I received an email from Sara providing details on the use of the chapel. And on August 17 we had a telephone conversation regarding the event. She explained that she would visit the chapel after the church leaves to ensure that everything was in it’s correct place before I gained access to the building. And told me that I would be able to access the building beginning at 1:00 p.m. When my sister arrived to decorate for the wedding and reception. She found that the keys to the chapel were not in the designated box. She tried contacting Sara but there was no response. When I arrived to the location with the intentions of changing and taking photos before the actual ceremony. I also found that the keys were not in the box. I tried calling and texting Sara several times but there still was no answer. Also, my father and other sister tried contacting Sara but still there was no response. After having a moment of crying and worrying we decided to just host the ceremony and reception outside as we were able to gain access to tables and chairs from the trailer. I must say that I am really disappointment by the unprofessionalism showed during my event. No one ever dreams not being able to gain access to a venue on their wedding day. As it is a day that you can never get back and it is one that you hope to cherish for years to come. The entire situation caused major inconvenience for myself and guest. The minister, my father and myself all had to get ready in our vehicles. My sister’s design and decorations for the ceremony and reception were all planned with the idea of having the ceremony inside the chapel then reception on the patio. However, since the keys were not left in the designated spot she had to change up the plan with only 30 minutes to spare. Furthermore, my guest had to swelter in the hot sun for the duration of the ceremony and reception. And had to drive down the street to a local gas station to use the restroom. The lack of planning and follow thorough on your staff’s end caused a number of inconveniences for my guests, my groom and myself. Ironically, Sara did manage to return our phone calls after 4:00 p.m. when my use of the event space ended.
