I picked this dentist based on the previous review and I'm glad i did! I LOVED my trip to the dentist now that I switched to them! Everyone in the office was very friendly and down to Earth. Even the dentist himself was nice. I've been telling everyone to go there! A bonus is they play a movie the whole time you're there! Totally positive experience!

I've been a patient of Dr. Peretich for around 8 years now and I have to say, his team provides the best care I've found anywhere. I am one who becomes nervous at the dentist and found that their methods of sedation / relaxation in the office (while still allowing you to go alone / drive home normal minutes later) make the experience an enjoyable one instead of dreadful. GIven my poor personal care of my teeth over the years, I've had just about everything done at this office and Dr. Peretich and his staff have treated me wonderfully every time while still giving me the stern warnings I need to hear to remind myself to take better care of my teeth and gums. I've never waited more than 3 minutes upon arriving for a scheduled appointment, and due to a few unfortunately incidents I had a couple of emergency visits as well which were all handled the day they were needed as soon as possible which speaks volumes for their level of patient care. The office is impeccably clean, the staff and their beautiful smiles are always cheerfully welcoming upon your arrival and the experience has never been anything but a positive one while I'm there. The doctor offers the "laughing gas" sedation to calm nervous people like me for everything from a simple cleaning to a root canal, however after a few minutes of fresh air off the gas once you're all finished, you're level headed and safe to drive home alone just minutes later which is nice. Each room in the office features a TV that plays the movie of the day which is also a terrific distraction from the work being done in your mouth, and most importantly - the lovely staff doesn't try to have a conversation with your mouth full of tools - they talk to you before and after the service but make the "mouthful" portion quick and easy on you. Several years ago I moved 35 miles from the office and continued to see him up until recently when my job forced me to find a dentist closer to work so I can make the scheduled visits I've been neglecting, but I hope to one day have a schedule that allows me to return to see Dr. Peretich and his wonderful staff again in the near future. I cannot recommend this office any higher than I am so please take this advice - make them your new dentist office and you'll never regret it. I've had Dr. Peretich do everything from stitch up a lip where the broken tooth was ejected from my mouth to the resulting root canals that went with the new crowns for my broken teeth after my accident, down to a simple filling of a cavity and regular cleanings by the other staff, and I am happy to say I've never felt an ounce of pain at the office aside from the slightest pinch from the numbing shot that you could care less about thanks to the gas instead of being white knuckled for the ride like I was at other dentists. Despite my best attempts to dodge appointments when the time came due, the staff provided always courteous reminders by mail and phone to tell me it was time to come face the music and get back in the chair - all while being very pleasant about it and understanding after an extended absence making returning a pleasant experience instead of the dreaded guilt other dentists gave me when I wouldn't show up for a year at a time. Thank you Forest Hills Dental, I look forward to the day when my schedule allows me to take the hour drive to see you again, you've been terrific to me for many years. I'm sure you know who this is by now reading this - but if you don't think about the patient you make smile in the reception area every visit to make sure he brought all his teeth with him that day or the one who left the great message late at night on a Friday many years ago... ;)

Back in 2007, I took a lovely cruise vacation to Alaska. Or at least it *would* have been lovely, had I not fallen on a marble dance floor the very first night of the cruise, knocking out one front tooth and breaking two adjacent teeth! I got a temporary bridge while still on the cruise, but obviously needed major reconstructive dental work upon my return. I had a regular dentist, but she was difficult to schedule with (often had to wait months for an appointment that was compatible with my work schedule) and that was a deal-breaker under the circumstances. A friend recommended Dr. Peretich and I have been going to him ever since. I've had SO many different things done there (removal/installation of other temporary bridges, root canals, caps/crowns) and can give him an unqualified recommendation across the board. Now I'm back to only needing regular cleanings/exams, but they have my business forever. I love the staff as well -- they're friendly and helpful and gosh knows I saw quite a lot of them during that first year!
