I started seeing Dr. T in 1995  after my family held an intervention to get me to TAKE pain medication for chronic illness and severe pain. His treatment was, for me, a miracle. I was able to go back to work and function as close to normal as a person with chronic illness can hope to find.  
Living in Las Vegas, I made the monthly trips for over a year, anticipating promised reimbursement from our HMO, which never happened, or I would still be a patient. God bless his compassion.

After a life time of intractable pain, spinal fusion, recently they wanted to fuse 4 disks in my neck,I refused it. Dr.Tennant was the most compassionate Dr I'd ever had! 
He truly practises medicine for those of us that suffer from intractable pain! 
They don't accept insurance

Love Dr Tennant. In 1999, after 20 years of suffering debilitating severe intractable migraines on a daily basis, I found this miracle of a doctor!! 

Honestly, he taught me more about opiate therapy & what meds to use during my first visit than my PCP who told me, "You can't have migraines EVERYDAY" did in 20 years! 
My PCP was on a quest to "CURE" my migraines & there is NO cure..instead of treating the pain while he was doing that I ended up getting a ruined gastric outlet & stomach due to the amount of Excedrin I had to take. I was sent to every doctor; procedure; tried every med for migraine -- all to no avail.

Finally after 20 years, I found Dr. Tennant & he got my severe; daily migraines under control within 9 months.
At the time he was practicing in Grass Valley, CA & if he had continued up here, I would still be his patient! 😊
HE IS AN EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE DOCTOR for CHRONIC PAIN  & an AWESOMELY NICE; CARING MAN. THE BEST.

Dr. Tennant is the only physician ever to have treated me who is not afraid of the "Pain Doctor Police".  That is, those who would try to drive knowledgeable and compassionate doctors (who care more about their patients than they do about what's "politically correct") out of business.  None of the anti-pain medicine television specials ever, EVER  explain what it's like to be an intractable pain patient without help.  Dr. Tennant knows, and I love that he uses a multi-disciplinary approach to pain care.  God Bless his compassionate soul.
