I moved to Forge Gate in mid-November, and I have had nothing but a fantastic experience so far. We recently had a major snowstorm, and the property was excellent in terms of removing snow from pathways and parking lots, which was a great surprise. 

Maintenance has been incredibly responsive in the limited interactions I have had with them, and the property feels clean, safe, and friendly. The property staff have been nothing but friendly and accommodating, and they really have done a great job making Forge Gate feel like home.

Live here if you are looking for short term housing not somewhere you want to call "home." I lived here for 2 years and would never go back. Over $1000 in rent and wasn't worth the money to me. Forge Gate is money hungry and your rent is going into upgrades so they can increase rent even more, rather than improving the overall quality of your building and what you are paying for.

 What was I paying more for? Only 2 washers and dryers for C building and half the time they weren't working or someone was lined up to use them. When I moved in the walls were sloppily painted with drip spots on the wood trim in the kitchen. I repainted in color, and had a professional restore it to white when I moved out, but Forge Gate was so money hungry to say it was an eggshell gloss and not flat therefore they kept my security deposit. It wasn't even about the money, just the principal in that they do not value a good tenant if it slapped them in the face. Kept the place in pristine condition in the time I was there, and put up with the 2 neighbors uncontrollable yapping dogs, and the carpet in stairwells that always looked dirty and smelled like dog pee.

I personally called the police because of a domestic issue going on within the building at one point, and I know my neighbor on the floor below called once too. To be fair, maintenance was wonderful, and the patio was a nice feature. The pool was nice in concept but too small for the size of the apartment complex especially if you're interested in actually getting in the water and swimming.

Nice size apartments, Good staff to deal with. Overall living in forge gate was a very good experience.
