I went to Fork & Spoon with my husband, Michael K, in September. It's sad to read that the owner doesn't appreciate our feedback. Feedback is a great chance for improvement. Fact is that we could not order the Jackfruit BBQ sandwich and the Chickpea Tuna. The girl at the counter told us they do not make those anymore. My husband also couldn't order the juice he wanted to have since the juicer was already taken apart more than hour before they closed. I ordered a salad which was average. Got it in a plastic take out container even though we order for eating there. Seems like they prepared it in advance. I also didn't find it very pleasant that they started putting the chairs on the tables 40 min before closing. Overall we had a bad dining experience at Fork and Spoon and really hope our feedback will be appreciated to fix things and not get offensive. No reason to make stuff up, just leaving an honest feedback of our experience there.

Terrific food and service! Received a sandwich that had been ordered without onions with onions, but that was rectified quickly and graciously! Thank you for a great experience!

Three times here has been enough for me to decide it's not worth coming back. First time I thought I might have been hitting them in an off moment. But that was actually the best of the encounters. Don't come here if you have allergies. Lots of cross contamination and ignorance. I asked for ingredients of a baked good and no one knew. I ordered a salad and it can different from the menu. This last visit I stood at the counter waiting to be acknowledged (no other customers in line) and finally had to ask the two girls behind the counter if they were still open for business. I don't blame them as they both looked to be underage so likely have next to no customer service skills. However the same type of encounter happened on my second visit too. The salad I had to have them remake (which pains me as I hate wasting food) was too big for the plate and it was hard to eat without spilling. I also had to pick around a fair number of rotten greens (which I expected due to another reviewer.) The sandwich my fiancé ate made him sick to his stomach. He overheard them saying in the back something like "don't bring that near me, I'll throw up" before it was brought out. He requested that we never return. Seems like the original owner should have stayed or just closed shop. The new version isn't working.

Not happy with my experience here. They do not make the BBQ Jackfruit Sandwich or Chickpea Tuna sandwich anymore. These vegan options are the reason I came to this place. They shouldn't be on the menu if you do not make them anymore. Also, I arrived at 4:45 PM and I couldn't order a juice. I was told it was already taken apart for cleaning for the day. Whoever runs this place is seems to be lazy. Don't go here if you are looking for a good vegan meal.

Nice, quiet cafe in the downtown district. Parking wasn't bad. Food was good.
