I just went in to the ER to be treated for alcohol withdrawals. The addmitting person laughed and said, "oh, that's across the street." I asked her if they saw people for this and she told me "well I can admit you if you want but..."
     BUT WHAT? That was a very callous way to behave. It took a lot to go in there only to be disregarded like that. It would seem that they would be more sensitive to a person actively seeking help. I'll never go back if I don't have to.

Came in with excruciating ear pain, screaming, and waited for three hours only to be told that I should take Advil.
