Story

Edwin Forrest School is a public elementary school located in the Mayfair neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It is within the School District of Philadelphia.It was designed by Irwin T. Catharine and built in 1928-1929. It is a three-story, eight-bay, yellow brick building in the Art Deco style. It features an arched entryway with terra cotta trim, terra cotta cornice, and brick parapet. It was named for actor Edwin Forrest (1806-1872).It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.Students zoned to Forrest are also zoned to Austin Meehan Middle School and Abraham Lincoln High School.

There is always some there to help the children and parents. The home and school are great and raise money for things the kids needs likes books, nurses and supplies. I love the box top idea, it's a contest that the kids look forward too. The educators there are all about the community and what to do to give our children a better education. Thank you Forrest Staff. My daughter love y'all very much.

I love this school i go there know and I've been going there for 3 years in 10 and my brother is 15 and he went there when he was little i love the s school and so did he my name is Desiree and i request the school thank you for reading

This school has many activities, It helps children and parents in many ways. Home & School raises money to give teachers and students what they need. I personally love this school.

This is my cousins school. and she says that they do a lot of fun. stuff. i wish i can be at my cousin Samantha. a school. than mine i hate my school

Worst school ever
I go to Forrest and am in the 4th grade. I regret my mom putting me there.
If you go there...it's HELL to pay
I would give it no stars if I could
