Story

College town Fort Collins and cowpoke town Cheyenne, Wyoming, are both close enough to explore in the same day from this rural campground along I-25 near the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains (fantastic views!). Browse the shops, galleries and restaurants in Fort Collins' Old Town and tour the massive Budweiser plant. Cheyenne hosts Frontier Days every year in late July, and you can always visit the Frontier Days Old West Museum and Store. Bring your cowpoke inspiration back to the KOA and toss a few horseshoes. Or bring your own horse and exercise it in the campground corral and pasture. There's a large pet walk, playground and pool to exercise the rest of the family too. Relax in the rec room with cable TV or gather a group at the pavilion. Boat and picnic at Horsetooth Reservoir, hidden behind the bluffs overlooking Fort Collins.

Very nice people who went out of their way to be accommodating. The location is the problem. I understand camping next to a working cattle ranch, but the manure spreading or silage grinding ruins the experience. Fellow campers said they wouldn't return. They feared the stench would permeate their camper and clothes. Not the proprietor's fault, but the lack of sufficient gravel in the campsites is. The mud was deep, sticky and everywhere. Roads had a decent surface and the grassy areas separating campsites were fine. A little more gravel would go a long way in making this a nicer place to stay.

Stayed here for 2 nights on a road trip around many States. For the most part is was comfortable, but on several occasions we had some bad interactions with the older male manager there. He was rude to my partner who was disabled and also when I was washing my clothes, I heard him talking loudly quite rudely to a female worker there and was astounded in this. He was quite rude and abrupt with any interactions I had or seen with others. The other Staff were wonderful, which was a saving grace. I hope he learns to treat visitors and his Staff much better in the future.

stayed two nights in an RV, it was pricey with no redeeming qualities and a rude and nasty manager who refused any help for disabled guests, even help in removing plug from sewer that was too tight to remove by hand. We ended up bribing the very nice maintenance man. The woman at the counter was nice too, but the old man "manager" was beyond rude!

This would have been a 5 but the wifi here is very weak and we were right next to the office. This is the second time we've stayed here this summer. It's quite and laid back and the staff is very nice and willing to help you with whatever you need.

Staff was very friendly. I showed up just before 8:00pm and they were very polite and helped me pull in my trailer and they were very curtious. Nice amenities, clean bathrooms, outdoor kitchens, playground, and a swimming pool. Great place.
