An ENR ranked and award-winning Washington, DC Certified Business Enterprise (CBE), Fort Myer Construction Corporation is a leading contractor focusing on an array of infrastructure construction disciplines. Located in the DC Metropolitan area for over 45 years, we are uniquely organized to be responsive to the infrastructure needs of our clients due to the resources and relationships we have developed as a long-term DC based business.

Founded in 1972 as a small masonry and concrete contractor, our company has grown to over 900 craftsman supported by an administrative staff, including project managers, professional engineers, estimators, and a fully staffed safety department. Fort Myer typically self-performs critical work items including earthwork, excavation, concrete & asphalt paving, site development, foundations and structures. By self-performing much of this work, we provide clients with cost and scheduling savings.

Owning and operating multiple asphalt plants, Fort Myer offers customers various federal and state approved mixes. Our plants service the Maryland, Virginia, and DC area with several hundred thousand tons of asphalt material annually. Our plant located at 5th and V Street, NE employs the most cutting edge “green” technology to ensure this facility is the cleanest and the most environmentally friendly possible.
