Great place for a day trip from Fargo. Nice trails and good views. Went in March and it was still nice, just had to hike through some snow. If you go out make sure to stop at the Lunchbox and eat, you won't regret it.

Fort Ransom is a beautiful state park! I went in the fall last year and it was truly breathtaking. Did some hiking and it was really nice.

A beautiful place tucked away in the eastern North Dakota prairie. Horse park, hiking, and another prehistoric anomaly to admire the forming of this land of ours.

Awesome park. It was very quiet being a early fall Monday.

Nice park, not really the historical interest that one might think from the name. But there are nice trails and apparently the historical stuff is in the near by town.
