Very nice staff and comfortable quiet place. Big RV sites. However, the bathrooms, shower areas, and shower curtains are extremely dirty. I reported it to the office and was told they needed to put in a work order to get it cleaned up. I literally sprayed the entire areas and shower curtains with Clorox Bleach cleaner. I had to use shower shoes. After I sprayed the bleach you could see the areas it was cleaning. Even the shower curtains looked better. Don't see why a work order was needed! Aren't they responsible for keeping it clean? PLEASE FORWARD THIS REVIEW TO PROPER SITE IF THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR IT. Thank you. I have photos but couldn't insert them.

This is a really nice, well maintained campground, and it is far less expensive than anything else around San Antonio. Each site has plenty of space on either side with large grass areas, large concrete patio and a grill. I really do wish they had wifi and cable TV at each site, but that would obviously raise the rates. However, I think for those that have longer stays might be willing to pay that. I'll still give it 5 stars, because the staff is also very friendly and willing to work with you on any request. As of 31 May 2017, a notice has been put out that the entry/exit gate closest to the campsite (Nursery Road gate) will be closed from 2 June-28 Aug 2017.

Great landing areas for RV with very nice hookups. Lots of space in between each RV. Only negative is at this point hard to get on and off base due to road closure temporarily under construction

A little difficult getting to the park through the base, but worth it when you do. Nicely laid out with plenty of priversey. Very quiet even with kids out playing. Very helpful staff that goes out of theit way to help, either with directions on base or off, including access to highways to make it easier for travelers.

Awesome staff! 1st time RVing and the staff have been very helpful. The spaces are larger than other RV parks we visited.
