I have been renting a storage unit here for eight years. They have always been very helpful and when I needed a larger unit they went out of there way to provide me with the next available unit. At the time of transfer to the new unit they only prorated my payments so I didn’t waste any $ on an empty unit. Every time I go there, the place is clean and well maintained. I would recommend Fortress to anybody who needs a storage space.

We strive to treat our customers as we would like to be treated. That is why we gave this customer free rent to make up for our mistake. We lock all our vacant units for security, and our part-time employee forgot to remove the lock after the space was rented. We regret the inconvenience that this caused our customer, and we settled this matter with her. Unfortunately, she wrote the review prior to talking to us, and she didn’t write a follow up review explaining that we took care of her. It is very rare that we make a mistake, but we have made mistakes in the past, and I imagine that we may make a mistake or two in the future. The bottom line is that we own up to our mistake, we make things right with our customer, and we do our best to never repeat the same mistake twice.

drove from slo to ag paid the lady went home packed vehicle full of crap drove to back only to find that the unit i paid for was locked with fortresses secure locks. manager no where to be found so basically i rented a unit only to have myself locked out of it makes sense huh.....would not reccomend this place u can do much better for your storage needs its clean but who knows if ull have access goin back today well c what they have 2 say wasted like a quarter tank of gas 2
