My grandmother passed away on Nov. 1st 2016. It was and still is a very difficult time for my family especially my mother and myself. Fortuna was nothing but wonderful throughout the most difficult process of getting everything prepared and rather quickly (we had the wake on that Thursday and the funeral on Friday) to honor such a wonderful woman . They are just the most friendly and comforting people. They were attentive to the family's needs and requests and diligently prepared a beautiful wake/funeral for my grandma. Living out of town and not being able to be there for my mother was the most difficult thing to experience. I felt so at ease when I met Josh and the rest of the Fortuna staff. Just from my first meeting with everyone I knew that everything would flow smoothly and we wouldn't have to worry about little things. I was right. I cannot thank Fortuna enough for making my family part of theirs during this difficult time. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart.

I and my wife have used Fortuna's for over 30 years now and we have never experienced the abilities this team offers by any other funeral home.  Their experience and abilities to stay true to the individual are amazing and greatly appreciated.

UPDATED:  Terrible!  Everything was screwed up for my wife's grandmothers funeral.  Including workers phones going off during the internment service.  Double booked their hall and bumped the reception to Garfield Heights at Knights of Columbus however the had no one to clean up the hall and the hall was asking the deceased' family member members to clean it.

Extremely rude to the children at the viewing.  

Unimaginable that a funeral director could be so rude, incentive and callous. DO NOT do business with them unless you want be treated with complete un-empathetic unprofessionalism.

On a previous burial for my mother in law they tried to sell my father in law a casket for 6k you could get at the Casket Store in Parma for less than 2k including delivery.  

That individual tried to argue with me about quality of the caskets etc.  Upsell Upsell Upsell is the name of their game and prey on those during their emotionally fragile state.

This place is amazing. This establishment takes care of you, like you are thier extend family. Highly recommend.
