Milton Fossie opened Fossie’s Bar-B-Q at 603 East Walnut St. in Dickson in 1958. Fossie's specially prepared meat with hickory wood coals over an open pit, in a traditional slow-cook style. Country music stars, politicians, and other notable celebrities have lined up at the window at Fossie’s Bar-B-Q along with everyday folks to taste their amazing pork, chicken and ribs. Fossie’s PORK OR RIB original sandwich is served with bones in, and certainly should not to be eaten like a regular sandwich.
