Decent credit union experience, but not really worth the hype.

I hear so many people rave about how credit unions are so much better than traditional banks, but I haven't personally seen any evidence to back up those claims. Loan interest rates are about the same across the board, online access is standard for any financial institution, and features seem about equivalent.

I had a savings account with Founders until I recently closed it out to consolidate my accounts to another bank. My experiences weren't bad, just not as good as everyone makes them out to be. Jane Sherbet was super helpful in closing the account.
