The property taxes in Essex are some of the highest in the country. For that you would expect an exceptional educational system. Founders seems to be falling through the cracks. Some teachers have given up and really don’t teach. The administration doesn’t support those that do try to teach. Bullying is a problem as well-with no consequences. In this school a child can do or say anything violent and not be expelled. Sure, they make anti bullying presentations and talk about not bullying, but when it actually happens in class or on the playground, staff look the other way (even when a teacher is told by the victim).
