I absolutely loved it there! Amazing scenery with forestry and water views and the trails were awesome! They had a variety of paths you could take :-) definitely bring a camera and take photos!

Love to hike here!! Food trucks show up regularly,  way cool! Rapid City cops do police here but of course local drunks hanging out and in the cave there was a horrible homeless smell with a dirty sleeping bag! I wouldn't let kids go there alone!!!

Stopped in because we saw the food trucks.  Had a great picnic in the shade, nice place to stop for a break or walk, the trail looked nice.

Great place to do all kinds of activities.   Only drawback is sometimes there's drunks in the area, day and night.

Founders Park has become a hub of activity since Rapid City revamped it a few years ago.  On many summer days the local farmers market can be found.  Great food trucks are often parked in the parking lot, serving their delicious goods.  The bathrooms are always clean.  My favorite trailheads for the Hanson-Larsen Memorial Park are right across Rapid Creek, accessible via a foot bridge.  You can park at Founders and spend hours hiking, running, biking, shopping, eating, and much more.
