Small town police who know 99% of the town. Very rude unless your friends with them, unprofessional and specifically target or profile for traffic stops. This year with PA going stickerless registration on vehicles, I had forgot to renew my registration exactly on time. About a week after it expired, I was parked at the Wawa while 1 of their SUV vehicles with ghost lettering was in the lot also. Due to my plate having stickers from previous years, with no real due cause or suspicions of a crime committed, the officer decided to run my plate and find out my registration was about a week expired. I sat in my car, got my son a snack and drink and ate a lunch sandwich all while unknowingly having this officer sitting there watching me, so when I pulled out he followed me and pulled me over due to the registration. I was able to beat the ticket in court that came out to almost $500 because the officer refused to accept my electronic ID update (I don't own a printer) and was frustrated that I use an insurance e-card all on my phone. But the officer admitted to me that I was only pulled over due to the registration offense which the judge had to dismiss due to it being illegal for an officer to sit and run random plates with no due cause. Also when I showed my updated registration the officer wasn't even aware if the 2 year option PA now offers. Way to stay on top of the laws you're supposed to uphold. There are plenty of drug issues and drug dealers in fountain hill, yet the police never bother them. In the "bad" area of town they smoke blunts out in public around kids and sell crack and heroin at a park while police never bother to go by even though it's general knowledge of this activity. They basically sit on Broadway or Delaware Ave all the time and just pull over and harass people who are passing through instead of making their town a better place
