It was an adequate campground but for the rates, it wasn't that great. Constant barking medium-sized dog next to site #56, plus the owner and friends were loud to 11:00pm. I believe this is a season-long location for that camper so beware of that site. The rest of the sites nearer the beach seem packed in. Buggy bathroom since the light is on all night and watch your head going into bathroom stalls! Camp sites are not groomed in any way. Campfire ring was full of cigarette butts, ashes and old coals. To top it off, an electric power box with water faucet right below it that faces horizontally and then pools right underneath it. 
   We were last minute planners this year so thats on us but there are much better campgrounds for much less money in Maine.

Best Campground in Maine! It's got a park for kids,  a nice little beach right on Long Lake & docks if ya have a boat.  It's right down the street from supermarket,  family dollar & Dunkin Donuts....Just an all around great place & perfect location to spend some quality time with great friends & family surrounded by everything you would need,  DEFINATELY RECOMMEND!!! 👪 👫 😊🐕
