Beautiful views at day and night!! Nice, cozy, RELAXING and fully stocked with what you need. You only need to bring your own food! LOVED every thing about this place! Close to local winery and park as well.

I have no idea what that other reviewer is talking about. These cabins are amazing and the customer service is wonder. My family has been coming here for four years and we have never had an issue. We have a large party with several children (we end up renting all the cabins roughly 35 people) and we have always had a great time. They recently got a new play ground that the kids love and the river is not far. The staff is so accommodating and helpful. I highly recommend Foxfire as a wonderful place for a family get together.

A favorite get a way since 1998. We love the peace and solitude. Close to the river, state parks, and other fun activities. They always make us feel welcome. The log cabins and other properties each provide their own unique setting and experience. Lots of fun memories. Until next time...

We had 3 beds, a bathroom, kitchen, front porch, fire pit, and a grill. Very nice accommodations, and close to the state park entrance.

We stayed at the Indian Mound house in June 2017 while vacationing at Lost Maples state natural area. While this is not your 5-star resort, it was excellently equipped and relatively modern. The house is quite a ways of the main road and backs up to the Sabinal river where we were able to wade in crystal clear water and build a rock dam and whirlpool. A herd of deer frequented the pasture in front of the house each evening. The house had fire pits up near the back porch as well as down by the river. One of the best amenities along with the air conditioning was the clothes washer and dryer. There is no internet service except for an AT&T wireless extender. As Sprint customers we had no service for three days (not necessarily a bad thing).
