It's mother's day. So I'm thinking sit down. But THEY closed so I look at the wife and suggest that we treat mom to FRANK'S, cuz ultimately we already knew We'd be getting a treat as well!!. I suggested ORDERING ONLINE. She was like "surly they don't have online ordering " so I went to the convenient location and ordered 4 dinners that came quick, fresh and delicious. And for a fraction of what THEY would have charged. And the FIRST pic I sent my wife was this! Stop playing with FRANK'S!!!
First time trying this spot and I was very impressed with the food and service. I ordered the fried catfish platter. Since I wasn’t familiar with their sides, I asked the staff what they would recommend for sides. I was told their mac and cheese and collard greens. They were ABSOLUTELY correct. I placed my order and it was ready within 15 minutes. The food was great. Seasoned well and great portion sizes. My only disappointment is that I forgot to order a slice of their sweet potato pie! No worries…it just gives me another reason to return. Oh yeah…I got 3 meals out of this ONE dinner platter!!! WINNING!
Consistency Consistency Consistency!! Been coming here regularly for close to a year Food is great and hits the spot every time . I've had ribs, tips, fish, shrimp, and chicken. Red beans n rice and green beans are my favorite sides. Customer service - Michael is always pleasant and makes you feel welcomed Atmosphere - it's a take-out spot...kinda glad there's no sit-down actually, might disrupt the "formula"
I haven't had a bad plate yet. I'm so glad i found this place! Parking: This is a small takeout only facility sharing a parking lot with a gas station. There are only a few spots in front of the establishment, but there are plenty of spots around it in the shopping center.
The food was awesome it was hot and fresh. I wanted to try the cobbler but they were sold out which means I got to go back. But if it's anything like the rest of the food I'm sure it's amazing too the fact that it's sold out says a lot to me.Parking optionsFree parking lot
Absolutely love pick up from here! Online ordering is a beeeze and it’s ready when I arrive hot and fresh. Ribs fall off the bone and the whiting is fried to perfection and seasoned just right!Food: 5/5
The shrimp po boy was outstanding. The Mac and cheese was really good as well. They had barbecue that smelled amazing, but the po boy is so good I never bother to try it. This place is a 20 minute drive from my house but it's worth itFood: 5/5
UPDATE: A gentleman who had been working in the establishment for a few years over heard conversation with the other employee and took it upon himself to explain the misunderstanding and address customer service issue which helped. Thanks. I did taste food and got some for a friend and it was a bit salty on some of the dishes but apple cobbler was great! Worst customer service when it comes to your business! When someone is telling you that your online order prices aren’t matching up with orders placed at the window look into it. Don’t dismiss the customer on their order just because you want their money! Reviews and customer service goes a long way! Will not be coming here again and this was my first time and I haven’t tasted the food! Smh ‍
Amazing BBQ. Anytime you find a food establishment that only opens on the weekends. 9 out 10 it's going to rock your world lol. It doesn't disappoint here. It's a "pick up and go" type of spot. So don't plan on staying. But it's a must try in my opinion. Ribs fall off the bone. Mac and cheese is on point. And the Collared greens are very well seasoned. The cajun fries are so good there is a saying. When anyone that's been to Frank's asks " where you get the fries from?" And you say Frank's? They will be like " o yeah that makes sense.'' It's a must try if you're in the area when they are open.
Ok I’ll go more into detail about my experience since the owners felt it wasn’t specific enough. Me, my bf & my brother came during lunch, we got 3 lunch specials which was 2 shrimp plates and a bbq chicken sandwich plate all with Cajun fries. All came out to $30, the Cajun fries was to salty and the shrimp was little but my boyfriend did enjoy his chicken sandwich. The service was a 2, I’m not sure if it’s because we was adding items but we all wanted to try since we’ve lived here our whole life and never had this spot before & wanted to show love, we didn’t get that energy back at all. The customers were cool and that’s what made me want to try but the overall experience was a 4/10 which many of my IG followers also said, my brother who’s from buffalo rated 3/10. We would love to give the ribs a try though because people said they are good but no more fried food for us !
