Cocktails and beer are good, but it's the food that's lights out. In particular it sounds dumb but the salt/pepper wings are incredible.

This is one of our favorite places in the south end. They have great steak frites and many other delicious options. It is hard to get into on the weekends as they don't take reservations. So plan on waiting in a line.

A great choice for dinner. Nice neighborhood. Girlfriend and I came here Saturday at 7:30 sans reservation and were seated at a good table just fine. Lights were comfortably dim, all the staff were nice, and I really did like the music (I'm 24 years old for reference). Fish tacos were killer. I tried a martini, I believe the Silver Monk, which was fair. Girlfriend loved the cucumber one. Her tuna tartare was great as well. We should have stuck around for a full meal instead of trying to get into restaurants in the seaport...

Cozy place, good cocktails, excellent service. One of the few South End restaurants with booths and where you can actually carry on a conversation without shouting. On our most recent visit we had about 5 or 6 small plates: calamari, chicken livers, tuna, a few others, all well prepared and tasty. Love this place.
