I Currently live here, I have been living here since Oct 2016 with my sister. so far we caught 6 mice! we caught the six one because we were out of state for 2 days, (guessing cause it was quiet.) It is so disgusting meaning there are more mice out there. The utilities are shared among those in the building which makes it more expensive and unfair for those who are barely home. The walls are super thin. Please save you money and go elsewhere. This place is trashhhhh!!! We are young adults working hard, going to school when we come home we want to be relaxed not frightened. We pay too much to be  living with mice, highly unacceptable.

I wish you could put a 0 STAR for this place....Very dangerous place to move too....They only carry ONE SECURITY PERSON FOR THE WHOLE COMPLEX.....GOT MY FOUR TIRES STOLEN LAST WEEK.  I AM AFRAID OF EVEN BEING IN MY OWN HOME WITH MY THREE CHILDREN. LUCKILY MY NEIGHBORS THAT ARE NEXT TO ME ARE TRUST-ABLE... BUT THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS PLACE TO RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!!! They need to step it up and pay more security people not 1 person on shift and they should be around the clock.

Well to start off, I love my apartment. Nice and cozy, breakfast bar and balcony has French doors. No complaints. My move I  process was swift and easy. Shout out to Ms. L. Brown!!!! She was awesome!! She thoroughly explained everything, contacted me with every update and answered every question I had. I love where my unit is. My neighbors are quiet. The bus stop is 2 min away and the station is a short walk. What more can you ask for.

I used to live here for over 15 years. The reason I stayed was because the schools where awesome. I got extremely ill from mice infested apartment and mold. My lease was up and couldn't renew gave 30 day notice because my mom also living there got extremely ill due to the point she was on her death bed. They told me twice to pull the plug on my mom. Thank God she is still here in a nursing home now. Me and my son is now homeless and as I go to look for a place knowest behold FRANKLIN PARK is on my damn credit report never got a bill a call nothing. $2300 I owe for what I've tried to call no response back. So as a Christian I really hate suing but in this case our doctor records and pictures of numerous mold & mice is a case. Defamation of my character I was embarrassed I have nothing on my credit report until now.... Thanks Franklin MF PARK.... #LIVID

The apartments here look nice until you live here. Here are just a few reasons to not even think about living here:

-My boyfriend and I originally asked for a 12 month lease. Since he was a student at UMD, they offered us a DEAL where we would receive our first month free. However, what they decided to leave out was the fact that our 12 month lease would turn into a 13 month lease. Now we are having to pay for 2 months rent for the month of September because we were mislead by our agreement and went to find a new apartment to live in.
-The walls are so thin,  you can hear neighbors conversations clearly and loudly.
-there ARE bugs here even though it's mandatory they spray your apartment every 3 months, requiring you to empty your entire kitchen and closets.
- Maintenance will only answer your phone calls some times. However, if you are trying to reach the leasing office and residents service office, good luck. They will never call you back. I tend to think their employees get paid to sit around and not answer phones, or even check their voice mails.
-There is mold in our closet where our hot water heater is, and without us knowing, we had a severe leak from our water heater that leaked into our downstairs neighbors home. They never came back to fix this.
-We have changed our air filter, on our own time, about 5 times within a year and we still have horrible allergies.
-One night we locked our keys in our apartment, around midnight, and we were told to call Emergency Maintenance. They man who helped us was SO RUDE; he didn't even acknowledge us, stomped up our stairs, unlocked our door within a second, and literally grunted at us when he left.
-The first week I lived here, someone took a key to the entire side of my car.
-OH DID I MENTION WE HAD A WHOLE FAMILY OF RACCOONS LIVING IN OUR WALL/ CEILING THAT WE COULD SEE CLEARLY FROM OUR AIR VENTS? We called maintenance, I don't know... 10 times... before anyone came out to then discover a major whole in the roof, allowing raccoons to enter.
-Our ceiling leaks badly. We had to call maintenance to fix a leak after a really bad storm, and when they came, all they did was cut a small chunk out of the ceiling and replaced it. Our ceilings have so many scars from past repairs, and the major leak is back yet again.
-The windows... so gross. They look like they are from 1970 and have never been once touched. We have mold and residue around our windows, and when it's cold or too hot, the windows get moist on the inside and drip to the floor.
-The AC and Heat vents are RIGHT ABOVE our huge glass windows, allowing all the air you pay for to escape before you can heat or cool your place. Seriously... good luck with staying warm in the winter.
-The bedroom carpet doesn't have any padding underneath of it, so it feel like you are walking on straight plywood. 
-The bathroom looks nice until you notice bugs crawling from the corner of walls. The shower curtain rod also falls off every time you shut the curtain because it's actually being held in place by pressure. 
-I'm pretty sure the walls have also been painted over 100 times because the paint on our walls is peeling, yet there is still the same color wall underneath..for infinity. 
-When it rains, your balcony will be destroyed because they never clean the gutters. Good luck with any balcony plants; they will most likely be drowned to death. 
-And finally, if you experience ANY of these issues, or MORE... no one here will answer your call. And if they do, they are very empathetic and won't do a damn thing to help you.
