OMG I had the same acid reflux doctor!   I went in with a horrid cough and sore throat.  My throat was red and the cough was obviously due the cold/flu.  I was staying up all night coughing and needed some relief.  I was told I had acid reflux, really???  I went to another doctor the same day got the proper diagnosis and medication and was better in a few days.  I out right told her that is not what I had,  she was annoyed and said that was her diagnosis, unbelievable.  What a waste of my time having to see two doctors, never mind the cost to the medical system.

Pretty sheisty little clinic. Their hours are terrible and they try as hard as they can to fire as many people through as possible without any true compassion for their woes. They call and ask you to call back but nobody answers the effin phone. My wife was misdiagnosed both times she visited this clinic and refyses to go back. The College of Physicians needs to put their foot down and smite this clinic and the Drs. Complaints can be directed to them if you want to make a difference and effect change. A little compassion goes a long way.

The older blonde, long-haired lady at reception was incredibly unpleasant. Didn't even look up at me to say hello. No smile, no caring and almost annoyed I was there. Made the fact that I was quite ill even worse. If you can't be a friendly person, don't work with the public!

This clinic is a joke and a terrible experience from beginning to end. It started off with the receptionist, who prefers to take personal calls instead of helping the patients that walk through the door. The wait to see the doctor was ridiculous, beyond the usual wait time for clinics. Then when I finally get to see the doctor, Dr. Anthony Ciavarella, he was not willing to help me or listen to me at all. I went in to obtain a doctors note for my work and a refill on my prescription. I just had a pilonidal surgery and was still in pain/recovery and just needed a note for my work to have the next week off. Dr. Ciavarella would only write me a note that says "a few days" because he did not want to write a formal note...... So he was pretty much just too lazy. He then goes on to say that people who have had the same surgery as me usually require 6 weeks off work... Thanks Doc, yet you only write me a note for "a few days" off work. WHAT AN ABSOLUTE JOKE. 

I then asked him for a refill on my medication for the pain, and he tells me he can't write me a prescription because the medication is a "narcotic".... Okay, you're a doctor, who the hell else is suppose to write me a prescription?!?! This isn't even the first time he didn't refill my prescription, i had gone to him some time ago for a  prescription refill on my clydamicin, which prevents the cyst, and he wouldn't write a prescription then either. 

So now i will have to go to a different clinic and pay another $20 for a doctors note and get my prescription filled from there. PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR IF YOU WANT ACTUAL MEDICAL ATTENTION. Useless doctor who should retire now and would never be able to become a doctor if he tried today.
