Story

From simple beginnings, Fraser Park Restaurant has become one of the most notable eateries in BC's lower mainland.

In 1997, Anton and Sylvia Heggen decided to share their love of cooking with a simple goal: to deliver handmade and homestyle food at a fair price. Since then, Fraser Park Restaurant has become a hub for good conversation, pleasant atmosphere, and most important of all; hearty food.

Came here for brunch one Saturday morning after seeing all the good reviews. It's kind of a hole in the wall in a random industrial park but the place was super busy at 1pm. We met this nice couple in line and they recommended the German breakfast. They said it would be a large portion but as I love pancakes, we ordered a side of their fruit pancakes as well. German Breakfast - a giant platter of meat, eggs and potatoes. I loved the three egg omelet with peppers and the amount of bacon was incredible. The potato pancake was a bit of a letdown but the home style fries were pretty good. My wife loved the sausage. 4/5 Fruit Pancakes - a little pricey at $9 for two but the pancakes were super fluffy and filled with plenty of cherries, bananas and blueberries 5/5 Overall, a great no frills meal at a reasonable price (under $20 for two). Wouldn't hesitate to come back again.

Big breakfast and great prices. Walk up to pay and order before sitting down at a table. There's no table service. There's a fairly sizable menu to choose what you want. The breakfast here is amazing. There's seating inside and outside the restaurant. The washroom is decent. Tables are cleared regularly and it's okay if you sit next to other groups. Tables are set up on a communal bench style. Plenty of parking outside and along the street. It's not easy to notice this restaurant from the street as it's located inside an industrial complex strip. If you're coming from Marine, it'll be on your right and facing south (you'd be coming from the north). It's okay if you drive past it as it's easy to turn around up ahead.

We stumbled upon this gem a month ago - 6 years after we moved to South Burnaby! Couldn't believe that we didn't know about it sooner :( Fast, friendly service, very reasonable prices, huge portions and DELICIOUS food!! It's our new go to brunch spot!

As a casual regular, I have been coming here over the years but definitely the service has gone downhill. Its tough to see but its definitely true. I like the food but it takes about 45 minutes and sometimes an hour for them to get the food from the kitchen to your table, and they often forget things or your are waiting at your table while someone else is eating their food in front of you. If you like waiting up to am hour for your breakfast or lunch and also fighting for a table to sit down at, then this is a good place to come. I think I won't come back for a long time on the basis that it is embarrassing to bring a friend or family member who is really hungry, and has to wait for an hour for simple things like SOUP and SANDWICHES, when you can go to so many other places and waste your time and look like a fool with your hungry guests. Its just too bad to see that this has been going on, and there hasn't been any improvements to better the customer satisfaction here. Won't be coming anymore, and family won't be also.

They have a pretty good food menu, lots of variety in what they offer. I recommend the German Breakfast or the Chicken Quesadillas. Beware that the wait can be extremely long (more than 45 minutes once) and you should order before you get there.
