This place is awesome! I try to go on a week day, because the weekends tend to be a tad overcrowded! In order to shoot on the 200 yard lane, you must qualify at 100 yards first and hit 3 of 5 shots in a 6 inch group. I have included an example from when I qualified recently. Good idea on their part! Bullets at one point were flying over the backstop and almost seriously injuring/killing someone. I hear people complaining about this. But seriously... If you cannot shoot a group at 100 yards within six inches, you have no business shooting on the 200 yard lane! The Range Safety Officers out there are awesome!

Oh i really enjoy going shooting here! To be honest I used to be scared of gun ranges like this, but the staff seems attentive and help those who need it. They take their job of keeping people safe very seriously. If course every now and then you see some crackpot who has a gun they probably shouldn't have and seem pretty unsafe about using it. That's when I leave, my nerves can't handle it, but over all very good.

Had a great bike ride there today. Beautiful scenery and very little traffic for a Saturday afternoon. We'll be regulars here and next time we'll bring a picnic for sure!

A scenic campground! We saw eagles, ospreys and alligators! The bathrooms were very clean. A great place to ride bikes around the lake.

I enjoy using the shooting range. All the the employees and volunteers who work there are very courteous and friendly. Nice to have somewhere to go and enjoy the outdoors so close to home.
