It was great! My hamburger was delicious.  My son loved his fish.  My other son and I kept eating his french fries wishing we had gotten some.  We missed ice-cream because they closed earlier. That wasn't their fault it was because summer is coming to an end.  😓

Little seasonal burger spot on the water. Outside seating only with water and boat dock veiw. They also have some seafood like clam chowder, clam strips and fish and chips. No lobster, shrimp or crab. They also offer ice cream and milk shakes as well. There are NO BATHROOMS here. Few parking spots in front but plenty of parking up the hill across from them. Can get packed but usually no more than a 10 min wait. Food is good but not great. Service is fast and friendly. I recommend giving them a try

was plentiful so I got a spot right in
front.Wow, the views of the Thames
River and the sun gleaming onto the
Groton shore across the river were
incredible. I forgot to mention the views of the ferry boats and sailing

Everything we'd hoped for in a seashore roadside clam shack.   Everything we tried (with the exception of the chili dog) was outstanding.

The whole belly clam dinner was awesome, as were the french fries, onion rings, and the fried calamari (perfectly cooked - crispy on the outside and tender on the inside).

Ice cream for dessert.

OTOH, The chili dog was foul -- I don't know what kind of meat was in it, and the chili on top was pretty bad too.  Kids couldn't eat it.

But who goes to a clam shack for a hotdog anyway?  Stick to the seafood and you'll be happy as a clam!

Oh, no bathrooms, by the way.

Excellent place to eat! The food there is great and very reasonably priced. There is outdoor seating overlooking the Thames River. When I go there I always have a great time.
