We've used Fred's 3 times now for various transactions. Always really fast and very helpful, and the fees are well worth the time saved not waiting in line at the MVA.

I went there yesterday at around 6:30 PM to do a tag and title transfer for my new car. 

Brian, who was working, was very friendly and professional. He helped me out a lot and I had new tags within minutes. 

Honestly, the whole ordeal took me a lot shorter than I thought. I would definitely recommend this place again.

All of the negative reviews were from 8 months-3 years ago from when I went (January 2014) so I'm guessing that either A) nicer employees work there now B) none of the meanies were in when I stopped by, or C) what I needed done was so simple I didn't have to chat with them much.

I was there to drop off tags from a car I sold to Carmax. I was in and out in literally 2 minutes flat. Sign a paper, pay, leave. I had read the negative reviews before stopping in, so I purposefully tried to be chatty with the employee who was there. Though I wasn't there long we joked about the weather and those Bail Bond pens that spawn all over Baltimore.

It was a speedy, straight and to the point experience. No complaints!

I have been coming here for years for vehicle tag and title work. I have never experienced a rude staff member or any errors in paperwork. It is worth the fee in order to avoid the time spent at the MVA.

I will never use Fred's Tag & Title again. First of all Bobbi was not the most polite. She told me that I needed a buyers order and had to pay taxes on the buyers fee because it came from an auction. So going through Fred's I paid more money in taxes plus a $20.00 electronic registration fee that I wasn't informed about until afterwards. I called MVA  twice and asked them about it and they said I should only pay taxes on the price of the vehicle. I called Bobbi and told her what MVA said and she said that they were wrong. Then asked for a name of who I spoke with and said she'd call me back with a supervisor on the line to prove that she was right, which never happened. I took two other vehicles to MVA three days later and was told that I did need a buyers order but, I wasn't suppose to pay taxes on the buyers fee. On top of that I received my titles from MVA back in 7 days and still waiting for the title from Fred's. I don't recommend Fred's to anyone. A bad attitude and paying unnecessary fees equals an unsatisfied customer.
