Hi, Sean. I wanted to bring something to your attention. Today, I received a perfectly packed dinner from your restaurant with a wonderful smile. However, I was quite disappointed with the meal. The white fish was rubbery and flavorless, the callaloo looked more like mashed potato with coconut, the rice and peas were quite boring, and even the mac and cheese was not up to the mark. I appreciate your wonderful customer service, but the meal lacked everything that I was looking for. As a regular supporter of neighborhood restaurants, it saddens me to say that I won't be able to support your restaurant anymore.
I order food from Freda's Caribbean & Soul Cuisine twice. One order was the vegetarian lunch and it was delicious and well seasoned. I ordered again but it was the dinner vegetarian and it was horrible! The food arrived Cold the mac & cheese is dry and, tastes like egg and Mac…Where is the cheese? You can’t be that cheap on cheese when making mac & cheese. The food arrived, cold and wasn’t seasoned. Who cooked the dinner meals do they have high blood pressure and don’t taste what they’re cooking? This is not good at all…uck!

I feel so sad that I have to write this about a family restaurant, but today I had the worst goat curry ever. I adore curry goat, so it made it even disappointing. The sauce was, similar to mud with a sandy grit with a tiny bit of spice. The Mac and cheese was average, but the only redeeming part of the meal was the yams. I thought that perhaps my taste buds were off from the flu, but when my mom tasted it, she almost threw up from the taste. I tried to eat as much of it regardless, as a goat unfortunately died for this meal. :
Great family vibe for sit down Caribbean food that my won’t burn a crazy whole in your pocket. Owner and her son really good people. Recommend the jerk chicken and jerk salmon and the garlic string beans and sweet plaintains as a side. Portions huge so you def leaving full.
Good food. I ordered the Jerk Chicken with Mac and Cheese, solid. If all you care about is the food in relation to the price you pay, it is definitely a strong option. For a little more, you can get better quality food and service at Miss Mamies only half a block away tho..Food: 4/5

Food was 10/10 Ordered the jerk chicken lunch special, tender was super tender, very flavorful. Got oxtail gravy on my rice and I wanted to cry it was so good. Will be back over and overFood: 5/5
The food here is amazing. Since we came after the lunch rush, he took his time to give us recommendations based on what would pair well together. The portions were large enough for lunch and dinner for two people.
