Love Kaiser! My doctors here have done more in 4 months than my old doctors did in years.
The integration of it all is what makes the system work so well. All of my doctors are in the same building, use the same system and the same pharmacy. My co-pays are lower than they were with Anthem Healthkeepers and I can actually afford to see the doctor now.
Did you know they can do video therapy with no co pay after you do a couple sessions in person? Because I didn't and I'm so happy about that.
For someone who has a wide variety of issues this place is a god send.

I am very happy with the care I get in Fredericksburg.  I would like to see more specialist appointments in Fredericksburg,  for example acupuncture,  even if the appointments are only available 2-3 times a month. Driving to Falls Church or Tyson's is just too much.

I've always had Innovation Aetna as my insurance provider, which gave me freedom to choose or keep long standing current doctors and always enjoyed great service. Since Aetna is not available for 2018 I was forced to switch to Kaiser. Long story short, I've had doctors and dermatologist treating me for my skin issues so in order to see a new dermatologist under the Kaiser plan I had to choose a primary doctor first then he would have to refer me to new dermatologist. I called Kaiser last Thursday on 800 number to schedule appt with new primary doctor and was told someone would get back to me -usually within 24 hours to schedule appt. After 24 hours I called back on 800 number and informed them I still haven't been called to schedule appt. Then was told it's between 1 and 2 business days!! Really?? Just for someone to call your back to try to schedule an appt...NOT get appt but to schedule appt. So here it is Tuesday 1/9/2018 andI still have NOT received a return call to schedule appt since last Thursday 1/4/2018. Terrible service compared to Aetna!!!

I have been very happy with Kaiser and would recommend them highly.  Although there are times I have had to go to other facilities for certain testing and procedures, I really like all the doctors and nurses I have dealt with and feel their care is top notch.

Great first visit to Kaiser Permanente in Fredericksburg medical center. Great staff so far.
