This place has the best New York slices for lunch. The owner Fredi is also a great guy.

I've known Fredi for a few years now, and the main reason for this friendship was because I fell in love with the food that I worked part-time for him at one point. He's a very friendly man, and it's always nice having a conversation with him. The following are the best things, in my opinion, that you can get: 

1- Chicken/Veal Parmesan: The Chicken Parm. is my favorite thing to get from Fredi's and it's the reason I fell in love with this diner!

2- Goulash:  This is a wonderful dish of elbow macaroni, ground beef sauce, green peppers, onions. I've tried finding this in other places, but I've only been able to find it at Fredi's and it's just wonderful. 

3- Calzones: This is definitely wonderful. I can't eat pepperoni, but Fredi was kind enough to let me get chicken instead on it, and it turned out to be simply amazing. I've tried different calzones at different places, but Fredi's has a unique taste to it!

Crust was thin and crispy and sauce is very good. Very tasty! Only wish I could have added Italian sausage to a slice of pizza.

Great pizza but I have a hard time ordering it because the goulash is too amazing to pass up! Always great service.
