We are a non-profit community arts organization dedicated to encouraging and promoting knowledge and appreciation of, and participation in, the arts. The arts & cultural opportunities the Fredonia Arts Council provides have been enriching our community since 1967. Fredonia Arts Council offices are located at 320 Nth 7th in the Stone House Gallery. Built in 1872, the Stone House is the oldest remaining house in Fredonia and is a State of Kansas Historic site.
It is the mission of the Fredonia Arts Council, Inc. to encourage and promote the visual, performing and literary arts, by providing programs and facilities that create opportunities for people of all ages to participate in the arts.
The Stone House features a gift shop, with local Artist wares for sale. We have paintings, drawing, books, pottery, postcards, poem collections, and t-shirts.
