First off, whoever gave the one star had to be one person submitting two reviews and I'm guessing their kid is a whiney brat.  I think Dr. Frefrickson and his staff are great.   There was no wait and and they are very knowledgeable.   I could chat with them all day as they are delightful.

Dr. Fredrickson has been my dentist since I was very little. I am now 33 years old, and have never had any issues. Sure, he is a little "old school," but he knows his stuff and stays up to date on the latest research. His staff is extremely friendly, and he actually spends time with you during your exam. I would recommend his office to anyone.

Not child OR adult friendly. Dr. Fredrickson has one of the poorest bedside manners of any doctor/dentist I have ever had. He is considerably impatient and will not discuss any concerns you have regarding the methods and procedures he will use on your child...it's HIS way or the highway! I chose the highway and have since found an amazing dentist that is great with children.

Dr Fredrickson is terrible with children. I took my 5 year old to him for his first filling. No topical anesthesia, no explanations of what was about to happen, Dr Fredrickson just told him to open his mouth and started drilling. My child was ok for a few minutes, but then starting saying that it hurt. The doctor actually told him, "Shut up. It's not like I'm setting a goddamn leg!" When my child started to cry, and when I tried to comfort Dr Fredrickson proclaimed that he "hated children" and I that I needed to some place that could "deal with him." Then he stormed out of the room, leaving my child with a hole in his tooth and no filling. Quite frankly, he was the biggest a**hole I have ever met in my life. I couldn't believe the things he said in front of my kid (and I'm really not one to get offended by anything). I've also never written a review on anything before, but I feel so strongly about this jerk, that I had to. Fortunately, the rest of the staff is really nice, and the hygienist helped me explain to the kid what was going to happen, so he wouldn't cry. And she convinced the jerk to come back in and finish so that the kid wasn't leaving with a hole in his mouth. Although, after it was filled, Dr Fredrickson told me that he probably didn't get all of the decay out before it was filled...

Absolutely don't take your child to this man. I'd also boycott him myself, just on principle.
