This is the place in the area to go to for European beers and craft beers inspired by those styles.  They do have plenty of IPAs and the rest but their strong aspect is in German and Belgian beers.

Plus they also seem to have ability to respond to customer requests.  So if you can't find what you want, ask and they may be able to get it in.

In the end, when looking to gift beer I'm more likely to go here than anywhere else nearby.

They also have a small but strong tap list for drinking on site.

The store stocks a decent selection of craft beers, both local, national, and imported.  They keep a good variety of six packs and bombers in the cooler as well.  There is a small selection of wine but nothing mind-blowing and they also carry a decent selection of spirits/liquor.

The beauty of Free Bridge is that they have a bar with a rotating selection of taps.  They usually have a great selection on draft so that's a good enough reason to stop here, particularly if you're coming from nearby in Pennsylvania.  Love the owner as well.

One of the best kept secrets in Phillipsburg. 24 fast revolving taps plus a beer/liquor store. Thursday night for a $5 growler fill (bring your own growler though)

This place is awesome! Like 30 amazing beers on tap and very nicely priced. Carton 077xx is quite a fantastic DIPA from NJ. Grab some hotdogs next door and stay for a while. This place looks closed, but it is open, and there is a bar hiding inside the liquor store.
