Love this little roadside place. Portions were Huge, staff was super nice, great cup of coffee. The decor is really fun. We had a great breakfast on valentine's day. The place was decorated for the holidays. Super fun. Don't forget to get your photo with Elvis.

The food was just ok. The catfish special comes with one piece of fish...and for some reason it came on a plate with burger toppings. Like the plate was prepped for someone else's order. They'll ask how you want your burger cooked, but it doesn't really mean it will come out that way. Asked for medium, got well done. It was really crowded and the tables were really close together. Don't go on a Friday, you'll wait forever. The servers were decent. They do however swear while checking tables. The tortilla soup was pretty good, that's really all I would recommend.

I had the garden omelet and it was the most delicious omelet I have had in a long time. The accompanying fruit was of higher quality than usually found at breakfast cafes.  My friend had a Denver omelet and was also impressed. The place was crowded because of the nearby Chili Bowl racing, but service was still prompt and friendly!  I will definitely return.

I love Freeway Cafe!  Try the chicken fried steak.  It is HUGE!  Pair it with mashed potatoes as one of the sides, because their potatoes are made fresh, not from flakes.  Included is a homemade yeast roll that's served hot with plenty of butter and jelly nearby.

Other good choices include three way chili, ham and beans, and broasted chicken.  I don't think you can go wrong with anything you order here.

Love the food and the atmosphere. They serve breakfast all day long. I usually get Donnie’s Freeway Omelet. Service is always good. Food is good. Great place if you are in the mood for Cafe food.
