Horrible. I drove two hours to get a semen test from the lab in Fremont. I had to take off work. My wife and I called before hand to make sure everything was prepared for the test results. I checked in at the front desk and showed them my paper work for the semen analysis. They said everything is in proper order and gave me my sample cup and directions. There was no place to go to collect the sample and I was on a 45 minute time limit after the sample is in the cup. After collecting the sample I returned and I was still on the 45 minute time limit. The other front desk lady was questioning my paper work as if I was trying to get a narcotics refill. All they had to do was call the doctor before they gave me a semen cup. I felt so humiliated...Why would they say everything is ok, give a guy a cup to collect semen, and then give me a hard time with a time sensitive sample? I called my Doctor and they still have not received my sample from the Fremont lab.

I’m writing this review based on my experience with different doctors in bay area. I’m a software engineer, if any problems are reported by my client are not fixed correctly then client doesn’t pay to my company which means it impact my salary/job/promotion. This is how every industry works in world except healthcare. We go to doctors with health problems – how many doctors we see doctors are asking for fee only after curing disease? I trust that we should bring some seriousness in healthcare that doctors take patient problems seriously and collect fee from patient only after doctor cure the problem - that is my goal to write this review. It has been two years, I was going through with some health issue, no doctors were able to find the problem. Two years ago I started working with Primary care doctor about my health issue, the PCP spent almost 6 months to understand problem. So many tests, all tests came negative – American doctors have a beautiful concept that if all tests are negative if still patient report about the problem then it is either depression or phycological issue so patient should meet phycologist. So my doctor forced me to meet psychologist, after 2-3 counselling’s my psychologist concluded that mentally I don’t have any issues. So again started back with PCP, this time my PCP don’t want to meet me so he sent me to a doctor who is specialized to handled my problem. After looking my reports, the specialized doctor said he don’t see any problem but still I was reporting the problem. Finally doctors were frustrated and started giving anti-depression and sleeping medicines. I have used the medicines for a week, if I take those medicines my ability of managing day-to-day activities are reduced badly – I had hard time even to drive my car. And the sleep medicines I used for 2-3 months which stopped me to sleep without the medicine. My problem was shoulder and chest pain, and the doctors treated me in such a way that I never wanted to meet any doctors in future. After meeting doctors regularly and spending $10,000 from out of packet (in spite of having good health insurance) in 2 years, I understood that doctors works only for money and they don’t care and never understand how the health issues impact one person life. All this story I explained because I have some questions. 1. How American medical council allowing these kind of doctors to treat people? 2. One of my manager recently died because of doctors delayed in finding problem, he was reporting breathing issues for two years and doctors didn’t find the root cause. 2 years later all of sudden doctors suggested him to go through with bypass surgery which is failed during surgery and my manager is died. 3. Is human life is so valueless that doctors can so careless about a life? 4. Why no one ask doctors even they do mistakes? 5. In my example I have suffered for 2 years (still going through with pain, but now I set my mind that I should continue my life with pain), spent $10,000 – still the pain is same and because of medicines used added some more issues. I feel like I got diseases by giving money to doctors. Who is responsible for the mess up in my case? I know there might be many people had gone through with these kind of issues – why no one is opening their mouth? $10,000 in two years is big money, can these doctors give my money back since they haven’t resolved my problem? I believe the humanity is make sure no one else face the problems that we faced. I wanted all come together, and eliminate these kind of doctors. Let us fight for heathy human life, if not at least let us filter out doctors who works for money.

I grew up with PAMF when it was only at its Bryant St., PA location. One of their doctors helped me deliver my son 38 years ago. After I returned to the Bay Area after a 15 year absence, I moved to Fremont. Of course it's where my doctors would be. I now have a few chronic illnesses that have required specialists. Their people are good, but I must say my PCP is a little too quick to send me to a specialist.

The weekend staffs are so unfriendly and almost cost me my life. I tried to call my doctor's office on a sunday for an antibiotic because my doctor accidentally send the prescription to Creekside San Jose, and I am not about to drive to Creekside. The receptionist refuse to let me speak to an on-call doctor! Stating it is against her "policy" to have a patient speak to an on-call doctor over the weekend (I mean what?). I plead and begged, letting her know that my pharmacy cannot fill this prescription and I am really sick and cannot wait, and the receptionist states "you have to tell your pharmacist to call us", she won't even transfer me to her supervisor or any nurses. So then I had to call my pharmacy, begged to speak to a pharmacist, had my pharmacist call PAMF, PAMF on call doctor then called me, and then PAMF doctor called my pharmacist back. When everything is said and done I was too weak to leave my house, and I had to pay extra to have my medication delivered to me. Completely unacceptable.
