Story

Family owned and operated since 1927, we offer a personal relationship with our customers and community. Fresh Plus has served and proudly supported the community of Clarksville and Austin for over 80 years.

Don't live near this location? Come see us at our other three Austin locations. Visit our store in historic Hyde Park at 408 E 43rd St (on the corner of Duval and 43rd) and visit our Allandale Location (on the south side of Anderson Ln, turn on Rockwood). Our newest addition, Fresh Plus West Campus, is now open at 2401 San Gabriel St!

We offer a wide variety of wines and beers, imported cheeses, specialty meats, fruits and vegetables, as well as many organic and local products. We also offer a variety of fresh entrees, sides, soups, and sandwiches in our deli and in-house smoked meats in our meat department.

Absolutely phenomenal customer service. I've never written a review before, and this is well-deserved. I was sent on a grocery run by the Austin's film Festival as an intern, and I'm from Ohio, never been here, my list was vague, and the employees were SO SO SO helpful. I was offered help multiple times by a man who was stocking, didn't get his name. Both the man at the deli and Rain at the register were amazing at what they do. Not only did they do their jobs efficiently and extremely well, they conversed with me so easily, it felt like I'd known them for years. Rain held the door open for me on the way out and I left with a grocery shopping experience I never thought I'd have!

This store has it all! I wasn't expecting to find everything I needed and more. I thought it would be too small for that! i was wrong. I found all kinds of special dietary foods for my gluten free, dairy free diet! The employees were helpful and pleasant. I wish I had a store like this back home in Colorado!

Good - it's a neighborhood grocery store with produce, a butcher/deli, and kind employees. Bad - doesn't have a lot of items I want. No prune juice. Was totally out of carrots the other day. No whole spinach. Neutral - prices on the high side, as can be expected. However, some of the meats at the butcher are reasonably priced (e.g. chicken) and actually much cheaper than the meat cooler.

Nice little Neighborhood Grocery Store. It doesn't have a giant selection but it does have what you need when the big stores are too far away. Great breakfast tacos in the morning. Also good when you need to just run in and grab some wine or beer before going out on the lake.

Half way between a Whole Foods and a convenience store lies this Fresh Plus. A well curated small grocery store with definite granola feel. The deli has excellent King Ranch chicken and meat lasagna.
