We went mostly to take the dogs swimming and I wasn't blown away. It had 2 small fenced in "dog park" areas with tennis balls but the pond was not part of the dog area. I'm pretty sure the dogs weren't even allowed in the water. We didn't use the trail, it seemed nice though. I wish it was a bit clearer on the rules I guess!

Would have liked to see better facilities in Dennis. It’s really just two small dirt cages next to a pond. While I was there, someone told me to go to the Brewster dog park wow will not go anywhere else now I hope Dennis creates facilities like Brewster dog park! Just better parking, larger area, overall high qualities facilities. Hope this improves!

I kayak the pond and when I'm not doing that my dogs love the choice of 2 running areas and a waist disposal for what you're pets leave behind

Definitely has potential, but seems a bit neglected.  The surrounding trails are overgrown in many areas, with a few fallen trees across the trail in two specific spots one I was able to let the dogs through first and swing my leg over the tree similar to riding a horse, thankful to have long legs! The other notable one I had to limbo under....  The pond was pretty to observe from a distance, but didn’t seem very clean once you get up close and had a good amount of ducks swimming nearby... You can technically let dogs swim in it, as far as the town rules apply - however, I definitely wouldn’t let mine in there.  There are two fenced in areas; one for small dogs and one from bigger buddies. The areas were clean, but wish they had some grass instead of dirt. Also, just a heads up for other dog owners: I noticed a couple spots inside the fenced area where someone previously started trying to dig out, glad I saw it and not my smaller large dog ~ she loves squeezing through small spots to run free & play keep away which would give me a heart attack if it had happened with rt134 right there!

My dog LOVES going here! He has a blast running around the very large enclosed dog park and enjoys playing with all his doggie friends. There is 2 enclosed areas- 1 for all dog sizes and 1 especially for smaller dogs. There is also a great area at the pond where the dogs are allowed to swim. There is no restrictions like other ponds and beaches from Memorial Day to Labor Day where dogs are prohibited. This is the place to bring your pooch friend to cool off, swim and play! There is also a few walking trails to venture on that go around the perimeter of the pond. The entire area is very clean and all dogs and owners we have encountered have all been friendly. I highly recommend.

Love going here with my dog to play in the pond. The dog park portion is quiet and it’s sad because I want my dog to socialize.
